Hey Love of my Life,
We were in class for around 6 or 7 hours today, learning CLS which is really important but hard to stay awake the whole time. We learned how to apply touriquets, pressure bandages, IV's, and nasphylangelase, a tube you shove up into the nose to open up the airway. It goes 5 or 6 inches up and then down.
We also ran 2 1/2 miles this morning which felt really good. I enjoy pushing myself. I have also been doing a lot of push-ups on my own. We have a P.T. test this weekend and I want to do well. I am worried about my sit-ups. We don't do too many of them, once a day in the morning. I think I am looking more muscular but I weigh the same. I must be losing fat to stay the same.
I am still feeling the effects of last Sunday. It was such a good day. Church felt so good and talking to you was so good and hearing Jane made me so happy. She is getting so smart. I can't wait to see her again.
I'm excited to see what you put in my package. I hope it gets here in time. I am currently sutdying with some of the rest of my platoon for the CLS test. I really want to pass it the first time. I'm not too worried. I just don't want to make any stupid mistakes. On a couple sections of the test you can't make any mistakes like on the field medical card or the nine line medevac request.
I hope I will get to talk to you soon. I love you a ton.
Brad
P.S. I am working on those lyrics you asked for.
